How the Booking Engine module works day to day
The Booking Engine is the direct-sales channel Sabee makes free for every customer. You embed one script tag on your hotel website, or link to a hosted booking flow on a subdomain of your own choice, and start selling direct without paying commission to a middleman.
The widget was built mobile-first — 78% of direct-booking traffic across the Sabee network arrives on a phone, and the flow is tuned for that reality. Room selection, extras, guest details and payment fit in a single scroll on an average smartphone screen; the confirmation appears in under 12 seconds on 4G.
Seventeen languages ship out of the box, including full right-to-left support for Arabic and Hebrew, and forty currencies convert against a daily-refreshed rate provider. Prices always display in the guest's local currency while the booking is stored in your property currency — no exchange-rate surprises for you or the guest.
Promo codes support percentage or flat-amount discounts, per-rate targeting, and expiry rules; member rates give logged-in guests exclusive pricing tied to your CRM. Abandoned-cart recovery sends up to two well-timed nudges to guests who reached the payment step and left, and typically recovers 6–11% of would-be bookings.
Google Hotels and metasearch integrations are one-click. Turn on the Google connection, provide your Google Merchant credentials, and Sabee starts pushing your rates and availability to the Google Hotels comparison — bringing guests directly into your booking engine instead of an OTA landing page.
