About the platform
What exactly is Sabee?
Sabee is a cloud hospitality operations platform for independent hotels, hostels and aparthotels. It bundles eight modules — property management (PMS), channel manager, direct booking engine, revenue analytics, accounting & billing, housekeeping, guest CRM and multi-property view — under one login, one bill and one support team.
Who is Sabee for?
Independent hotels of 15–300 rooms; independent and branded hostels; aparthotel groups running one to fifty buildings. The core customer is an operator who has outgrown cheap tools and does not want to pay legacy enterprise pricing for a fraction of what they actually need.
How is Sabee different from a generic PMS?
Sabee is deliberately narrower in scope than a legacy enterprise PMS (no restaurant POS of our own, no spa scheduler) and deliberately deeper than a cheap cloud PMS (real revenue analytics, real accounting reconciliation, real multi-property). The goal is to be the operations platform, not a swiss-army knife or a booking widget.
Migration & onboarding
How long does migration take?
Most independent properties are live in 14 days. That includes data import from your current PMS, channel remapping, and two 90-minute training sessions for your reception and revenue teams. Larger groups plan a 30-day rollout with a dedicated migration specialist.
Can you import my current PMS data?
Yes. We have documented imports for the ten most common cloud PMSes and export patterns for legacy on-premise systems. Your onboarding consultant handles the import as part of the migration project.
Do I need to train my whole team?
Two 90-minute sessions are enough for most independent properties — one for reception, one for revenue and accounting. Housekeeping learn the mobile task cards in under 20 minutes on their first shift.
What if my current PMS is on-premise?
Not a problem. Our migration team has run dozens of on-premise-to-Sabee projects. We work with your existing vendor to extract historical data and set a cutover date on a Sunday morning to minimise operational disruption.
Pricing & contracts
Is there a minimum contract term?
No. Every plan is monthly with no minimum term. Annual plans are available at a 15% discount if you want to fix a budget.
Are there per-user fees?
No. Every plan includes a defined number of users (3 on Solo, 10 on Growth, 40 on Business, unlimited on Enterprise). If you need more users on a smaller plan we can add them without moving you up a tier.
Is there commission on direct bookings?
Zero commission on direct bookings — you pay the flat monthly subscription and keep every euro your booking engine earns. Payment processing fees (via Stripe, Adyen or your own PSP) apply as normal.
What happens if I go over my room limit?
Additional rooms above the plan limit are charged at €1.20 per room per month, pro-rated by day. There is never a service interruption or a surprise upgrade.
Security & compliance
Where is my data hosted?
Inside the European Union. Primary region in Frankfurt, secondary in Dublin. No personal data ever transits infrastructure outside the EU/EEA without explicit customer approval.
Is Sabee GDPR compliant?
Yes. Sabee is operated by an EU-based data controller and processor under GDPR and the Estonian Personal Data Protection Act 2019. Every paying customer receives a signed DPA — see the full DPA.
Do you handle payment data?
Sabee never stores raw card numbers. Card capture is delegated to your PSP (Stripe, Adyen or your own processor), which returns a token we store instead of the card.
What is your uptime record?
99.98% availability over the trailing twelve months. Real-time status at status.sabee.esesun.com. Enterprise plans include an SLA with financial remedy for periods below 99.9%.
Support
What support is included?
Email support on Solo, email + chat on Growth (median 4-hour first response), priority support on Business (median 1-hour first response), and a named customer success manager on Enterprise. All support agents are hospitality operators — every one of them has run reception at some point.
What languages do you support in?
English and Spanish are covered by our own team 24×7. Italian, French, German, Portuguese and Czech are covered during EU business hours.
