Changelog

What's shipping on Sabee.

Sabee ships continuously rather than in big quarterly bundles. This log covers the changes most relevant to how properties actually operate — new capabilities, fixes to real reported issues, behaviour changes, and security updates. Entries with a version tag map to our release train; smaller internal fixes are grouped into the nearest dated entry. Older entries remain below for reference — if you are troubleshooting a behaviour change, checking the date range around when it started is usually the fastest way to find the relevant release.

v2026.5.15
New Fix

Bulk rate calendar keyboard shortcuts

Revenue managers editing multi-month rate calendars can now select a date range and apply a rate, restriction or closeout with keyboard shortcuts instead of clicking through each cell. Early testing with our multi-property customers cut a typical seasonal rate load from roughly 20 minutes to under four. The shortcut set is discoverable directly in the calendar toolbar and mirrors the spreadsheet-style shortcuts many revenue managers already know from other tools, so there is effectively no learning curve for anyone switching over from a manual workflow.

  • Shift+click to select a rate range across the calendar grid
  • Cmd/Ctrl+Enter applies the last-used rate action to the current selection
  • Fixed a rendering issue where a selected range would visually reset after scrolling the calendar horizontally

Fix

Fix for Expedia rate push timeout under 5% load

A small percentage of Expedia Rate Availability and Pricing (RAPI) pushes were timing out under high concurrent load during Friday afternoon rate updates, affecting roughly 5% of pushes for larger multi-property accounts. The underlying batching logic has been rewritten to chunk large rate updates and retry failed chunks independently rather than failing the whole push. Affected properties should see push failures drop to effectively zero.

v2026.4.10
New

Added SEPA-mandate second-attempt

SEPA direct debit collections that fail on first attempt (typically due to a temporary insufficient-funds decline) are now automatically retried once, three business days later, before being flagged for manual follow-up. This alone recovered an estimated 18% of previously-failed SEPA collections in our pilot cohort across German and Dutch accounts.

  • Configurable per-account: on by default, can be disabled in Billing settings
  • Guests are notified by email ahead of the second attempt
  • Failed second attempts route to the existing dunning workflow unchanged

Security

Security: bumped TLS minimum version to 1.3

All public Sabee endpoints, including the API, booking engine and guest portal, now enforce TLS 1.3 as the minimum accepted protocol version. TLS 1.2 support has been removed following a deprecation notice sent to integration partners in January. A small number of legacy third-party middleware connections needed updating ahead of this change; our integrations team contacted the affected accounts directly.

v2026.3.12
New

Wellness retreat cohort booking module

Properties running fixed-date retreat or programme-based stays can now define a cohort — a shared arrival and departure date with a defined capacity — and let guests book into it independently rather than requiring one lead booker for the whole group. Cohort rosters show dietary flags, treatment schedules and payment status in a single view for the programme coordinator.

v2026.2.26
Change

Housekeeping task card redesign

Task cards in the mobile housekeeping app have been redesigned around three states — dirty, in progress, inspected — with clearer visual priority for VIP flags and maintenance tickets attached to a room. Feedback from a beta group of 40 properties over six weeks showed a measurable drop in cards being marked complete without an actual inspection step.

  • Priority ordering now surfaces same-day arrivals automatically
  • Maintenance tickets attached to a room show inline instead of requiring a separate tab
  • Long-stay "mid-stay service" cards are now visually distinct from full "turnover" cards

v2026.2.14
Fix

Multi-currency rounding fix on booking engine

Fixed a rounding discrepancy on the direct booking engine where a small number of non-EUR currency conversions could display a total one minor unit off from the final charged amount, caused by rounding at the line-item level instead of the invoice level. All currency totals now round once at the final invoice stage, matching what is actually captured by the payment processor.

v2026.2.2
New

Keyless entry integration: Salto

Sabee now integrates directly with Salto smart-lock systems, joining our existing Assa Abloy and Nuki connections. Confirmed reservations automatically provision a time-boxed mobile-key credential tied to the exact stay dates, and access is revoked automatically at checkout. This integration was built primarily for serviced-apartment and eco-lodge accounts running low-touch or unstaffed check-in.

v2026.1.22
Change

Revenue analytics pace chart redesign

The pace-versus-same-time-last-year chart in Revenue Analytics has been redesigned for faster reading at a glance, with segment breakdowns (direct, OTA, group, corporate) now toggle-able without leaving the chart view. Long-stay and short-stay occupancy can now be filtered separately, which is particularly relevant for serviced-apartment and eco-lodge accounts with mixed booking patterns.

v2026.1.15
Fix

Fixed duplicate webhook delivery on rate change

Some integration partners were receiving duplicate webhook events when a rate change triggered multiple internal recalculations in quick succession. Webhook delivery is now deduplicated with an idempotency key over a rolling 60-second window, and the webhook payload documentation has been updated to describe the new idempotency-key header for partners who want to de-duplicate on their own end as well.

v2026.1.9
New

Guest CRM allergy and dietary flag surfacing

Allergy and dietary flags recorded anywhere in a guest's profile now surface automatically on the daily kitchen prep list, the front-desk arrival brief, and the treatment-booking screen for wellness accounts, rather than requiring staff to check the guest profile separately. Flags persist across a guest's full stay history, so returning guests do not need to re-disclose the same information on every visit.

v2026.1.3
Security New

Quarterly access review automation and audit log export

Account owners and administrators can now generate a quarterly access review report directly from account settings, listing every user, their role, their last login, and any permission changes made in the period — supporting the access-review cadence many of our Enterprise customers already run internally. Audit logs can now also be exported as CSV for accounts that need to retain them outside the platform.

  • Access review report available under Settings → Security
  • Audit log export supports a custom date range up to the full 12-month retention window
  • Kicks off the year with a small internal milestone: this closes the last item from our 2025 security roadmap

Looking for something further back?

This page covers our most recent release cycle in full detail. Earlier changes are still tracked internally and referenced in our support documentation whenever a historical behaviour change is relevant to a support conversation — if you are debugging something that seems to date back further than what is shown here, our support team can pull the specific release notes from our internal archive. We also welcome a direct nudge if there is a change you noticed in the product that is not reflected on this page yet; the fastest way to close a documentation gap is a customer pointing it out.
