How the Accounting & Billing module works day to day

The Accounting & Billing module removes the spreadsheet layer that most hoteliers still keep between their PMS and their real accounting software. Every reservation carries its own folio; every folio settles in one or many charges; every charge posts an accounting entry that will still be there ten years later when the tax office asks.

Split folios let you divide a single reservation between multiple guests, or between a company and a personal card, without duplicating the booking. Partial payments, prepayments, deposits and refunds all flow through the same audit-trailed engine, so at any moment you can see who paid what, when, and against which line item.

Invoicing is VAT-compliant in every country Sabee operates in. Invoice templates are per-property, sequence numbers are enforced strictly, credit notes reference the original invoice, and reverse-charge handling is available for B2B stays across EU borders.

Automatic OTA payout matching is the module's centrepiece. Each week, Booking, Expedia and Airbnb pay you a lump sum. Sabee pulls their statement, matches every reservation on it against your on-books reservations, flags the exceptions (adjustments, disputes, currency deltas), and produces a clean reconciliation you can approve in a few minutes rather than half a day.

Native export runs to Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and — for larger operations — SAP through a certified partner. Journal entries can be posted daily or aggregated per property, per revenue category, per VAT rate.
